You'll be able to explore this vibrant city at your leisure, and we'll help you find the best spots with an afternoon bike tour on day 1 that will give you a fresh understanding of Chilean culture and history. Next up, the vast wide-open Atacama desert where you will see an incredible landscape filled with salt flats, sand dunes, geysers and majestic Flamingos. It's like no place on earth. From there we will transport you to Chile's southernmost Patagonia region where you will see the best of the unforgettable Torres del Paine National Park and the impressive glaciers of Bernard O'Higgins National Park. We'll finish our tour with the jaw-dropping views on Easter Island. This grand finale will feature history-rich sites, white sand beaches, and the infamous stone head Moais. Farewells and flower necklaces will be given on the last day along with memories to last a lifetime.

Day 1: Arrival in Santiago and City Highlights Tour

You will be transferred to your hotel in Santiago. In the afternoon, we will unveil the city's most renowned and defining sights. You'll enjoy an engaging adventure through our sprawling green parks before diving into the city's recent and painful political history surrounding General Pinochet's notorious 1973 military coup. See the downtown sites that continue to have lasting effects on the Chilean people, including our spectacular cultural center. This tour provides you with fresh knowledge and unforgettable memories of Santiago.

Day 2: Santiago to San Pedro

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Santiago followed by transfer to the Santiago airport for your flight to Calama. Upon arrival at El Loa Airport in Calama, our driver will meet you and whisk you away to the laidback city of San Pedro de Atacama. You'll rest easy at the hotel and have the evening to meet your guide, relax and sample some local food and entertainment. After lunch and a brief rest we offer an afternoon excursion to the Valle de la Luna an area famous for its colored badlands, sand dunes and caverns.

Day 3: Rainbow Valley and Stargazing

We will start the day by traveling westwards towards the Domeyko Mountain Range where we will take our first stop at Yerbas Buenas. This little town has an important history in rock art since many of the famous rock sculptures have come from this region. You might be able to notice that the most commonly represented animals in the rock art here are foxes and some camels. A tour around the town will take us back in time, exploring its history and traditions, and helping us to gain a fuller and truer experience.

We will continue the tour, crossing over to Matancilla, a valley rich in flora and fauna called Rainbow Valley (Valle del Arcoíris). It gets its name from the beautiful, varying colors of its landscape and rocks. This is any photographer's dreamland due to the spectrum of colors and the distinctive rock formations found here.

Atacama Desert Stargazing Experience: Picking you up from your hotel, our guide will take you out to a desert observatory to observe and marvel at the night skies of the Atacama desert. Being just four days after a new moon, the stars will be out in all their glory as our guide explains to you what you're seeing, and of course providing you with a hot drink and a moment in peace to enjoy the stars with.

Day 4: Miscanti and Meñiques Lakes and Salt Flats

We will have an early start after breakfast and visit the small oasis town of Toconao with its historic church dating back to the 16th century. We continue from Toconao to the Salt Flats of the Atacama. The salt flats cover a vast area and at times are covered by water that is just a few centimeters in depth. The Salt Flats are famous for the pink wild Flamingoes and views of the Andes in the distance. We will have lunch and then continue on to the lakes of Miscanti and Miñiques (4,220m). The deep blue lake of Miscanti is overshadowed by the giant peak of Cerro Miscanti (5622m / 18445ft).

Day 5: Tatio Geiser & Machuca and back to Santiago

Today we will get an early start (4am) for the thermal area known as Geiser del Tatio. It's a beautiful landscape of geysers and bubbling hot pots set among the giant volcanoes of the Andes at 4380m. You will have plenty of opportunity to stroll about and talk photos while you enjoy the dramatic landscape. We will return to San Pedro in the early afternoon. Our driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport.

Arriving in Santiago, you will be picked up from the airport and taken to your downtown hotel for a good night sleep.

Day 6: Santiago to Puerto Natales

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Santiago followed by transfer to the Santiago airport for your flight to Punta Arenas. Sit back and relax as you make your way past some incredible scenery. Upon arrival at Puerto Natales Bus Station, our driver will be waiting for you to take your to your hotel.

Day 7: Torres del Paine National Park

After breakfast we will head out for Torres del Paine National Park for a full-day tour. Enroute to the park we will start the day with a light walk through the Milodon Cave, named after the prehistoric giant milodons (sloths) that once roamed this landscape. Continuing to Torres del Paine we will take in the iconic landscape that Patagonia is famous for with impressive views of the Towers of Paine.

Day 8: Puerto Natales - The Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers

After breakfast we will start for the Puerto Natales pier. We will sail along the coast through the Ultima Esperanza Fjord (Channel of Last Hope) where you can often see sea lions, Andean condors, elephant seals, cormorant colonies, as well as a variety of flora right from the ship. The ship will near the roughly 2000m Balmaceda Mountain belonging to the Bernard O’Higgins National Park before stopping at the Serrano Glacier. After a short walk around the border of the lagoon, the ship will take you to a local Estancia where you may enjoy a traditional Patagonian lunch.

Day 9: Trekking Laguna Sofia

Beginning after breakfast, or in the afternoon if you prefer to spend the morning exploring the wonderful town of Puerto Natales, we will head out of the town to Laguna Sofia, located just outside the Torres del Paine National Park, where we will begin hour trek. Culminating at stunning cliffs with fabulous views over the laguna and the mountains on the horizon, our guide will accompany you as we make our way through the diverse Patagonian flora and fauna, enjoying the mountain air. After your trek we will drop you off back at your hotel.

Day 10: Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas and Santiago

After breakfast, We will make sure you arrive at the airport with plenty time to board your flight to Santiago.

Our driver will meet you at Santiago airport and escort you to your hotel, you then have the evening free to explore the city.

Day 11: Santiago Half Day Wine Tour

Welcome back to Santiago, the capital of Chile!

Join us in the afternoon as we explore one of the world's only urban vineyards, situated at the edges of the city in the footsteps of The Andes. We will leisurely make our way through the vineyard, learning about the fascinating history of the vineyard, and of Chilean Wine, before enjoying a glass (or four!) of it's best varieties.

Day 12: Santiago to Easter Island

We will begin the day with breakfast, then transfer you to the airport for your flight to Easter Island. When you arrive at Easter Island our drive will meet you when you land at the airport with a flower necklace, then you will be taken to your hotel. Afternoon is free for exploration or relaxation after the 5.5-hour flight.

Day 13: Easter Island South Coast Moais

Full day tour (7 hours app.), After having your breakfast,Starting from Hanga Roa, following the southern coast visiting: multiple sites to view the Moais including Akahanga (not restored), Ahu Tongariki (restored with 15 Moais), and Ahu Te Pito Kura, "Navel of the World". In addition we visit the volcanic crater and crater lake of Rano Raraku and the white sand beaches of Anakena. This beach is great for body surfing and you will have the opportunity to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean. Passengers have the option of including dinner to the tour, which they would enjoy at the foot of the Volcano Rano Raraku.

Day 14: Easter Island - Orongo and Rano Kau (AM), Ahu Akivi, Puna Pau, and Huri a Urenga (PM)

Morning Tour: After breakfast, we'll head to a spectacular viewpoint on the slopes of Rano Kau and its lake-filled crater. We will see the astonishing ceremonial village of Orongo, where the dangerous Birdman games were once held. These games were used to elect their leader through a life-risking challenge of physical strength and ancient beliefs. After an eye opening history lesson here, the tour will continue to Ahu Vinapu then back to the hotel for lunch.

Afternoon Tour: We will explore deeper into the culture of the Rapa Nui by heading to the center of the island to see the legendary Moais of Ahu Akivi which represent the beginning of the Polynesians' story here. Next we will visit the lonely, restored Moai of Ahu Huri a Urenga. This enormous Moai weighs in at approximately 40 tons and peculiarly has two sets of hands! Enjoy a view looking back at Hanga Roa before heading back to the hotel.

Day 15: Easter Island - Free Day

We suggest the following tour for this day (not included): Father Sebastian Englert Anthropological Museum, Ahu Tahai and the Craft Market. Today you can explore Hanga Roa and the surrounding area at your leisure or try our suggested tours. The Anthropological Museum tells a more detailed story of this island’s history through a series of well-organized artifacts, photographs, and archives which will give you a richer understanding of this unique culture. It also exhibits a female Moai with one coral and one red scoria eye, a true rarity. You can visit the neighboring Ahu Tahai where a few rare Moais with eyes can be viewed. Afterwards you can stroll the aisles of the local Craft Market to see the unique and beautiful carvings made from wood, stone, bone, and more! Take home a few souvenir miniature Moai statues and enjoy the authentic artisan handicrafts.

Day 16: Departure Day

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport with a typical farewell necklace.
